Roger McDowell has extensive leadership experience in distribution, engineering and industrial businesses. Mr McDowell spent over 20 years with Oliver Ashworth Limited, a pipeline products distributor, where he ultimately became chief executive officer and was instrumental in growing sales from £1 million to more than £100 million. He led the business through a period of significant growth, including achieving a listing on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange. Since then, Mr McDowell has held a number of chair and non-executive positions across listed and private companies, providing strategic leadership, governance oversight and board-level support to businesses operating in sectors including engineering, manufacturing, industrial services, technology and financial services. Mr McDowell is currently the non-executive chair of Flowtech Fluidpower plc, Hargreaves Services plc and Avingtrans plc, the senior independent director of Tribal Group plc and an independent non-executive director of British Smaller Companies VCT 2 plc.
